UNESCO Report


Finnish water is the best in the world! A report was presented by United Nations in the third World Water Forum in Kyoto, Japan on the 16th of March 2003. It is the most comprehensive analysis published up to date on the global water situation.

The UNESCO report evaluates the situation in 122 countries regarding the quality of water, and according to it, the best water in the world is found in Finland. The next best countries are Canada, New Zealand, Great Britain and Japan. The situation is most problematic in many African countries, Middle East and Central Asia.
